Vermont's most popular multi-use trail, The ISLAND LINE unites the Burlington Bike Path, the Colchester Causeway, and the Allen Point Access Area in South Hero into a stunning 14-mile trail that travels along, and over, Lake Champlain.
In spring 2011 many sections of the trail were severely damage by Lake Champlains's record flood waters. Friends of the Island Line Trail are soliciting funds to help repair this nationally recognized "Hall of Fame" recreation trail.
We are a coalition of the owners and stake holders of the Island Line Trail - City of Burlington, Town of Colchester, Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife, Local Motion, Town of South Hero, Champlain Islands Chamber of Commerce, Greater Burlington Chamber of Commerce..
